Art for Freedom.
Celebrating and Honoring Culture, Community, and Refugees
Bellwether International is pleased to be launching the first ever international art contest for freedom of religion or belief in connection with this year's Ministerial in London, UK. The Ministerial to Advance Freedom of Religion or Belief is an annual conference for ministerial representatives and civil society working on the right to freedom of religion or belief, to discuss issues relating to freedom of religion or belief and the implementation of this human right. The 2022 Ministerial is hosted by the UK Parliament in London.
Bellwether International welcome artists from all over the world to submit under one of the two categories:
1- What does freedom of religion or belief mean to me?
2- Honoring the Yezidi People.
Three winners will be selected in each category for a total of six prize winners. The first-place prize in each category will have their art displayed permanently in UK Parliament (tbc) as a reminder of the importance of religious freedom and human dignity for all people.
